If you go, try not to get rooms 25/26 as they are both haunted! As is the corridor outside room 18, while I'm on the subject.what's the name of the guy who does the entertainment news updates on ITV 2?A) Richard Arnold.Wiring a home entertainment system?Q) Does anyone have any ideas on how to wire a home entertainment system.
Basically what i want to do, is, i have a room which will soon be becoming empty, im going to have a projector, and a nice surround sound system, however, what i want is to be able to connect these together, but with the wires under the floor.
Simple? But thats not it, i have another room, which has my PC and a TV in it, also has surround sound, and my broadband connection goes directly into this room.
The 2 rooms are not adjacent, there is a landing between them, which i can easily take the floor up.
So, i want to have the 2 rooms connected, basically so i can have any peice of equipment working from any outlet, (thinking DIN connectors)
The most important thing is, i want to have my projector and speakers connected to my PC, so i can use my computers media collection, in a different room.
I know i havent explained this too easily, but anyone know where i can find out how to do it, tools? etc
So, i also want to be able to have the internet on my pc, at any outlet too!
A) So you really don't want to know about wiring a home theater but whole house distribution. This is relatively new and still quite costly to do right but as demand and wireless distribution gets better, look for the cost to go down as well. Ease of installation as well, but for now this is best left to a professional installer and integrator to do right.Has home entertainment died?Q) I turn on Sky TV and theres lots of channels... all of them are terrible.
I go to download some new tracks for my MP3 player and theres nothing there any more thats decent. Music has just dried up completely.
Games? Every game released is completely mundane. There is no new ideas implemented anywhere. A far cry from the Independent games on the Amiga. Everything is a first person shooter or some boring sports sim.
Films? I have honestly not seen a film i would consider classic since Terminator 2.
Thats it eh? Pretty much covered.
I spend my life learning things because there is no other entertainment and i figure if im bored id be as well being bored an learning.
Has anyone else noticed this? Over the last few years its like everything has turned purely into make-as-much-money-as-possible-from-the-clones. If they buy it, milk them.
I mean, its like hype is what people now live on. Brainwashed by marketing?
To people posting chaff....
The question is about Home entertainment. How do you manage to goto the beach or vacation while in doors?
Of course everyone has a life and can read books, but in general entertainment and creativity of that medium as died.
A) Very important problem that you have pointed out.
TV, internet, MP3 etc are killing the time not only of the young people but of elderly nowadays. But I make sure that I will close all electronic equipments at least half an hour and, all family members will sit together and speak of some problem or thing that has happened in the office of the parents or the school of the children. This can be practiced by anybody to relieve the tensions of modern life. Moreover it can be the best home entertainment.Daytime wedding reception, what sort of entertainment?Q) Because I have a daughter who will be nearly 2 when we get married we are going to have the reception from 11:30am till 5:30pm. It is not going to be formal and we are not having a sit down meal, any suggestion for daytime entertainment to keep guests entertained and to give the reception a party feel?
A) I used to play taiko (Japanese drums) and our group did a few wedding receptions. Maybe you could find some local dance/music groups to perform/instruct if it's in your budget and if you have the space. Or you could just hire a DJ, or maybe rent a karaoke machine. If there's going to be a lot of kids present you could have a juice/smoothie bar. Your reception could have a theme (like Hawaiian, your favorite movie/tv series, rainforest, etc.) and you could have activities that relate to the theme to make it feel more like a party. Were looking for a family holiday centre in the UK. Which is great for Kids and Good Entertainment?Q) Hi, We've just got back from a 2 week holiday with Haven at Coombe Haven in Hastings. We were so dissapointed with the camp and everywhere including the pool was not buggy friendly. all had steps to get down and no ramps. This included the under 5's play area. The Entertainment was useless and repeated word for word in the second week. better stop there or i'll moan all night! MY Questions is can anyone recommend a family holiday centre in the UK which is great for kids and buggy friendly. Our kids will be 7,9 and 18mths on next years holiday, so we'd like to find somewhere that will have something for each of them. Also good entertainment at night. If you have any suggestions, i would really apprecitate them.
Thanks.
John
A) Maybe try Butlins in Minehead?
It would have rides for the 9 & 7 Year old and Noddy land for the 18 Month old. Also there is a play are suitable for all ages & pool.

2) Reach the masses
3) Affordability
4) Media blitz on the public
It has been a good and bad progression:
When the public hears the same message over and over again, whether it is filth, education or entertainment, many tend to listen and watch because they are curious about the event.jackass number 2 entertainment? or ruining our youth's minds?Q) ok i just want you opinion on jackass number 2. i personally think that jackass is entertaining but i also see y people would think its ruining peoples little brains. so i just want you to tell me what you think

How do I get him discovered w/ the right people. print or commercial?Q) eyes as blue as the ocean, personality that will keep you entertained for hours. he recites the alphabet, remembers names of people he hardly knows, can follow a direction so much better than my 5 year old. and dance?? his rhythm is uncanny. I even caught him breakdancing. and he was doing it right! definitely not a.d.d like my oldest son who it 25!! He will sit and watch a movie from front to back. Had a dance teacher spend time with him. every move he was showed, he was right there with him. He is not shy. His smile will melt your heart. one day he wanted milk. I was busy and mumbled, well if you want it go get it yourself. next thing I know he was dragging a gallon of milk holding a cup. He says mommy, I got it. You had to be there. He was crowned mini king hawaiian tropic and won prettiest eyes, smile, and personality plus. The only child to take more than one category. Photogenic? You don't even know. He is my fourth. I feel strongly about his talents. his beauty. him
A) Let your child live a normal life. That is the BEST thing you can do for him. What you want......is for yourself, it will not help him in ANY way. He likes these things, because like any child, it gets them the most attention. To take it to excess, is not a good thing. Haven't you ever read about the child TV stars? Would you honestly wish that would happen for your child? Or would you try your best to protect them from it as a responsible parent?
